Ask Gambia answers everyday questions about trade, government services, education, transport and tourism. It works from a list of approved Gambian and reputable websites, which it reads and keeps up to date, and from short service guides that point to the official offices, rather than from the whole internet.

What “sovereign” means here

The AI model, the information it reads and the questions people ask all stay on infrastructure under sovereign control. Nothing is sent to an outside AI company, and nobody's questions are used to train someone else's product.

It runs on Boudica, a self-hosted AI platform.
